How Pikaba Works for Sellers
Categories: Tips & Tricks

There’s something charming about Pikaba. Once you have registered (signing-up is FREE and takes less than a minute), you’re about to see higher volumes of deals in your pipeline. Here’s how.

1. List your products
Start by uploading your inventory and customizing your offerings. Add items one at a time, or start a data feed. Then set your preferred prices, add photos, and paste product descriptions.

2. Field Calls from Pikaba Members
Pikaba members are looking for deals! On Pikaba they can see your products and prices, and they are eager to buy.

3. Get Notified about New Leads
We alert you when new promising requests are posted by Pikaba members.

4. Make Your Offer
Put so much value into your offer that your prospect would be nuts to turn it down.

5. Close the Deal
Customers buy your products or services. You ship them out and collect the profit.

This is Pikaba, your new sales channel, at its most.

Wishing you luck and prosperity,

Alexis

How Would I Sell Something?
Categories: Tips & Tricks

If you would like to sell something on Pikaba, there’re two options currently available:

1. Register as a User and post your FOR SALE request(s).

Once posted, all such requests will be listed in the For Sale category. But you can also track your requests in the My Requests section of your profile.

Posting For Sale requests makes sense if you have just a few items for sale and don't really need to use Pikaba to sell stuff, showcase your products and drive new leads for your business.

But if you think that serious, at any time, you can upgrade your account to the Seller status. Again, it’s 100% free.

2. Register as a Seller and list your products or services.

Each of your items will be listed in Pikaba Product Catalog. It's absolutely free for you. Check out other benefits of becoming a Pikaba Seller.

Sellers can choose from a number of features that will help increase productivity and seles. Sound amazing? Get strarted now!

Very truly yours,

Alexis

One Recipe For Getting Famous
Categories: Tips & Tricks

A few sellers have asked why they should post pictures to their sellers’ profiles. Esteemed ladies and gentlemen, please do! Why? You’ll receive more exposure if you upload a picture of yourself (or your company logo) and more exposure means a quicker sale.

Besides members with profile photos are many times more likely to be contacted by others on Pikaba. My guess is that strangeness doesn’t cut it these days. Don't hold your breath though!

These are newly registered members with great photos on their profiles. Meet the crew:

Perhaps they will do well.

Now what? Let's get famous! To upload a photo, login to Pikaba, go to your profile and click Change Avatar.

Hope this helps.

Very truly yours,

Alexis

Categories: Tips & Tricks

I’ve received a number of messages from new Pikaba members with questions like:  “What does it cost to list an item” or “What all vendor fees you may charge?”

Well, as a seller, for one thing, you pay pay NO FEES of any kind.  It means that on Pikaba, you can list an unlimited number of items to showcase your products or services.

Other nifty features include:

  • Leads are delivered in real time
  • Make special offers and set up custom pricing
  • Use a decision support system for group buying
  • Create or patronize buyers’ groups to work in your favour
  • Convert advisors to become advocates of your business
  • See the buzz surrounding your products and service

You'll have a new selling venue, with a vibrant, growing, and loyal community of buyers that loves shopping.

Again, thank you for using Pikaba; hope it helps in making good deals and rewarding transactions.

Pikaba Groups Launched
Categories: News
Groups are discussion areas that allow members to share requests, ideas, recommendations and information in one place. On Pikaba we’ve taken this even a step further. The Groups functionality is now a powerful element in your social shopping that you can leverage for many purposes. For instance, members can join or create a group for group buying and request wholesale prices from sellers. And sellers can build a group to sell in bulk and make a special group offer. So bring together friends, family, or colleagues and start a group.
